Nothing says spring in the Methow like Arrowleaf Balsam roots. We sighted some between Mazama and Winthrop on a south facing slope. Their beautiful yellow color lights up hillsides for weeks. In honor of the balsam root, get your rock shoes resoled to show off their true beauty!
